Description: This image clearly shows the enormous height of the arches as they line up on the beach. The arches are formed from the cliffs that meet up to the beach and the action of the waves on the rocks. The arches are located about a half-mile from the point that you can get down form the top of the cliffs to the beach, so one has to walk along the beach awhile to get to them. Also, the tide comes up every day to completely flood the beach, so there is not a lot of time to photograph the arches, if you want to stay dry. |
