Two of my favorite photographers, Bret Weston and Don Wirth, have created the most beautiful images of succultents and leaves. They inspired me to look more closely at these plants and photograph them in an interesting, artful manner. Bret's photographs also have a "silvery" look to the leaves, as if they were made of shiny chrome. I try to get that characteristic in my photographs of leaves and cactus as well.
