Description: The way the the line between the "real" world and the reflections in the snow appears so black intrigues me about this image. Also, the contrast between the birch trees and the pine trees in the background is essential for the image to work. This image was taken in Yosemite Valley beside on of the bridges over the Merced. The tree reflections initially caught my eye, but then the black shoreline made the composition special for me. |
