Description: This image was inspired by the great photographer Brett Weston, who made absolutely fantastic images of seaweed and rocks in water and other close-up semi-abstract photographs that I just love. We are all products of our experiences and what we make of those experiences, and in my photography I bring a love for the natural scene from the images I have seen. The properties I love of the Weston images are the compositions he saw in the randomness of the weeds and the glistening silky wet silvery tones he was able to produce. I hope this image is even close to his standards. |
