The late afternoon sun was side-lighting the cliffs and this solitary tree near Lower Yosemite Falls. The boulders in the foreground seemed to be trying to climb up the cliffs. The cliffs in the shadows looks like a night sky, lit up with stars. I was fortunate to look up and see this composition as I scouted the base of the cliffs for images.
